Learning About Myrrh Essential Oil

The History: Native to the desert of Oman, Yemen, Ethiopia and Somalia,  the tough myrrh shrub, oozes a sticky reddish-orange gum. In Western herbal medicine,  myrrh gum is used  to treat mouth ulcers, bleeding gums, skin wounds and chest infections. The oil has an usually sharp, woody yet bittersweet aroma. 

Supporting the Spirit: This oil calms the breath, enhancing meditation. Myrrh creates a sense of inner peace and tranquility.
Special Blend: 4 drops of Myrrh, 2 drops of German Chamomile, 4 drops of Frankincense with 4 tsp of your favorite carrier oil. This special blend helps to heal skin wounds.
